As I was cleaning out my mother's store room preparing to sell the old family home, I ran across this wonderful oil painting by Ross Stefan. Notes on the back indicate that it was sold to my grandfather in 1973 and was acquired by my mother after his death. The painting, titled "Out Ash Creek" measures 16x22 inches and is framed to 25x31. The scene is from southern Arizona near Tucson, where Stefan painted for most of his life until his death in 1999.
I've contacted a few galleries, and it seems that this fine piece of southwest art by Ross Stefan is probably worth $3500. I'm happy to give it a good home for $2995.
